Designed to offer a different play style to the indoor area, this outdoor playspace challenges users with custom equipment designed to test gross motor and agility skill levels.
The playspace has been designed and detailed from scratch to create a truly bespoke space that features equipment specific to this project and not available elsewhere.

Wafer Climber
Custom designed for the Uncle Bucks project, this 4.5m wide x 3.5m high suspended platform system challenges users with a unique mix of balance, dexterity and agility.
Inspired by ice cream wafers this original piece of play equipment has been designed from the bottom up, including specific detailing of the mound substructures, platform mounting components and platform structures/rubber.
It offers multiple paths of play and is suitable for a range of age groups by allowing users to go at their own pace. They can choose to move fast by running, jumping and swinging or go slow through stepping, balancing and swaying.

Ultimately this results in the construction of high quality play spaces that truly reflect the original design intent and conceptual direction of the project.

Balance Rope
Sitting upon 2 raised mounds this 4.5m balance rope suspends above ground and offers a way for kids to test their strength, balance and gross motor skills as they move across the ropes.
Once complete they can move on to the Monkey Bars or through the Wafer Platform system and complete the rest of the outdoor course.

This free standing monkey bar system spans over 4.5m and features friendly ice cream styling that matches in with the overall aesthetics of the playspace.
Users can continue the challenge course as they make their way from mound to mound and platform to platform.
